NEUMED's process management is strictly carried out, from selecting safe materials to providing raw materials and products of excellent and consistent quality.
Material selection, which can be considered the starting stage of a product, is carried out after verifying safety through traditional and modern literature based on NEUMED’s iMED platform, joint-developed with the Herbal Medicine Department of Kyung Hee University College of Korean Medicine.

Production and product management not only inspects items according to regulations, but also thoroughly inspects foreign substances, moisture, mold toxins, preservatives, tar colors, melamine, sulfur dioxide, and other factors that may affect the safety of the product. The test results are conducted on all lots, managed as one individual certificate of analysis per lot, and provided together with the delivery of raw materials.

In addition, we also conduct molecular biological tests such as genetic identification to prevent mixing of other raw materials that may cause confusion. When it comes to the development stage, the production area, annual growth, area, and harvesting period of natural products are reviewed to select and standardize conditions that can provide raw materials of certain quality. Furthermore, we strive to provide consistent, high-quality products to our customers by standardizing the composition and amount of extraction solvent, extraction time and frequency, and drying method. Multiple samples are collected from each lot produced, and the content of indicator and functional ingredients is thoroughly managed through instrumental analysis using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and detailed ingredients that are not specified in the standard are identified through chromatogram pattern comparison.

Maintain direct cooperation with domestic and foreign companies and
farms for various tests to be carried out to maintain raw material levels

In order to provide raw materials and products with excellent quality, NEUMED maintains direct cooperative relationships with domestic and foreign processors and distributors, as well as origins and farmers. We select companies that can provide excellent and consistent quality through company evaluation based on on-site audits of partner companies and the results of analysis of multiple samples, and conduct regular and irregular inspections to manage various risk factors of selected partner companies.

It is not usual for a domestic bio venture to maintain cooperative relationships with farmers in areas with good natural environments overseas, such as China, but we strive to secure the best materials by continuously conducting field visits and sampling. Multiple samples are collected and imported as raw materials only if the samples meet the specifications.
